Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent a vehicle from being inclined and suppress the impact load given from the road surface by offering the specific initial load which varies according to the load transferred from the road surface to the vehicle, to a resilient member formed between the vehicle and a wheel supporting member. CONSTITUTION:A transport vehicle has a driving wheel 3 and front and rear casters 5 and 7 under the chassis 1 of the vehicle. For example, the rear caster 7 has both a rear driven wheel 11 and a wheel supporting member 13. A cylinder 39 turnably fixed to the chassis 1 via a pin 37 is mounted on the upper face of a piston base 15 to which the wheel supporting member 13 is connected, and a compression spring 49 as a resilient member is put inside the cylinder 39. In such case, such an initial load is given to the compression spring 49 that keeps the chassis 1 in parallel with the road face 9 when the load transferred from the road face 9 to the chassis 1 is under the specified value, and that suppresses said load when it is over the specified value.
