Abstract

PURPOSE:To attain the digital transmission of a voice signal with improved line quality by using a cryptographic device to a radio station transmitter- receiver in combination so as to realize the digital communication system with stable and improved cryptography and setting the synchronization of the voice signal. CONSTITUTION:A cryptographic device 5 is provided with selection means No.1, No.2. The means No.1 selects either of radio channels and a MODEM 53 optimum thereto and the means No.2 switches control modes A-C of the reception signal output. When the means No.2 selects the mode C, the mode is a mode of communication not applying cryptographic among stations and the S/N is decided at the reception side of each station by the MODEM 53 and only when the S/N is a standard value or above, bit synchronization correction is applied. In selecting the mode A, the mode is a mode applying communication with cryptography for all stations and each station sends a random synchronizing signal before a digital voice signal at the transmission side and the reception side decides simultaneously the random number synchronizing signal and the voice frame synchronizing signal simultaneously to apply communication with voice synthesized output.
