PURPOSE:To realize a cleaning roller whose toner eliminating function is more excellent by pressing the cleaning roller of a material by which a softened toner is absorbed easily against the surface of a heating roller and rotating it by being driven by a rotation of the heating roller. CONSTITUTION:A cleaning roller e' of a material by which a softened toner is absorbed easily is pressed against the surface of a heating roller (b). As for this material, for instance, heat resisting felt, etc., are used. A supporting shaft (f) of the cleaning roller e' is supported so as to be freely rotatable by a bearing (g), and the bearing (g) is pressed in the direction of the heating roller (b) by two pieces of springs (h), h'. In such a way, said cleaning roller rotates at the same peripheral speed by being driven by a rotation of the heating roller (b). The toner which has adhered to the surface of the heating roller (b) is adsorbed to the surface of the cleaning roller, and also, since the formation of a toner layer is advanced, the cleaning roller whose replacement is not required extending over a long period of time is obtained without deteriorating the toner eliminating function at all.
