Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent a toner from being scattered and to facilitate the settlement of a work by providing a toner flow-down port on one end of a cylindrical cartridge main body and providing a first and an second partitions so as to be freely slidable to both sides of the body, on a part separated from said flow-down port. CONSTITUTION:On one end of a cylindrical cartridge body a, a toner flow-down port 13 is formed, and also, two pieces of partitions 16, 17 for forming a toner storing space P are provided so as to be freely slidable to both sides, on a part separated from the flow-down port 13 in a hermetically adhering state to the inside surface of the body A. This cartridge is provided with a partition moving mechanism 21 for moving both these partitions 16, 17 to one end side in the longitudinal direction of the main body and discharging a toner contained in the toner containing space P, from the flow-down port 13. On the partition 17, a cover body 18 for closing up the toner flow-down port 13 at the time of movement to one end side in the longitudinal direction is connected and provided. By this cover 18, scattering of the toner is prevented, and since it is unnecessary to peel off a sheet, the settlement of a work is executed easily.
