Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a pseudo 3-dimensional reprojected picture with the use of a 2-dimensional picture processing means by performing a 2-dimensional picture addition to continuous tomographic images obtained from a tomographic picture image preparing means, and outputting the obtained reprojected picture. CONSTITUTION:After the continuous tomographic images obtained from a fault image preparing device 1 are stored into a 2-dimensional picture memory by a 2-dimensional picture storing means 2, a 2-dimensional picture adding means 3 adds the respective tomographic images vertically in respect to the tomographic surface or while dislocating the position according to the reprojecting direction (a visual direction). Further, when the position is dislocated, after the reprojected picture is obtained due to an affine transformation, the reprojected picture obtained by the 2-dimensional picture adding means 3 is outputted and displayed by a reprojected picture output means 4. Thus, the pseudo 3-dimensional reprojected picture can be obtained at high speed and macroscopically by the 2-dimensional picture processing means.
