Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable effective air-conditioning in accordance with air-conditioning loads by computing the required flow rates of cold water and hot water from a pre- inputted air-conditioning load required for air conditioning and water temperature and controlling the discharge water quantity of a pump in accordance with a command signal from a flow controller. CONSTITUTION: When a cooling load is large, the temperature of cold water on the inlet side of a refrigerator 4 measured by means of a water temperature sensor 12 and the flow rate of the cold water measured by means of a flowmeter 13 are inputted to a flow controller 14 and the controller 14 computes the required flow rate of the cold water and outputs a signal commanding the increase of the flow rate of the cold water to a variable flow rate device 15 to control the output of a pump 11 until the flow rate reaches the required flow rate. Therefore, a refrigerator 4 can always be operated with its 100% capacity at large-load time. When the cooling load is small, on the other hand, no signal is outputted from the flow rate controller 14 and the flow rate of the cold water is maintained at a fixed value.
