Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent back flow of unburnt constituents from a furnace to an inner flame cylinder and make CO/CO2 characteristic good by providing throttle plates for forming a plurality of inner pressure chambers in the vertical direction in the inner flame cylinder in regard to an open type burner of plural cylinder petroleum stoves. CONSTITUTION:Vertical direction in an inner flame cylinder 4 is partitioned by throttle plates 12 and a plurality of inner pressure chamber 14 is formed. Throttle holes 13 are provided in the throttle plates 12. When ignition is performed on the edge of a wick 1, heat reaction is generated by air from the air holes of the inner flame cylinder 4 and an outer flame cylinder 5, the wick is reduced into hydrocarbon which is small in carbon number and in the time of normal burning complete burning is performed by secondary air at the outlet of a furnace 6. At this time of outer flame cylinder 5 facing a glass outer cylinder 8 is made red-heated by the heat reaction. In the case where a burning quantity is decreased, a flame 11 gradually comes in the furnace 6, the back flow of unburnt gas from the side of the furnace 6 into the inner flame cylinder 4 can be prevented by increasing the inner pressure by each throttle plate 12 and CO/CO2 characteristic can be made good even if throttle burning is performed.
