Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable a movable substance to stably and smoothly move while facilitating the housing of the substance when not in use by providing a ball made of superconductive substance and an electromagnet formed to enclose the ball through a fixed space from all directions except for the perpendicular direction right under. CONSTITUTION:This caster is constituted of a superconductive body ball 1 and an electromagnet 2 disposed to have at least three-directional magnetic fluxes such that the composite magnetic flux extends right under and the directions of all magnetic fluxes are not directed to the identical plane. In use, a switch 4 is closed and current is supplied from a power source 3 to the electromagnet 2 so that the superconductive body ball 1 is floated to be moved away from the electromagnet 2 and thereby the super-conductive body ball 1 can be rotated without contacting a movable substance to move lightly the movable substance under such condition. On the other hand, when not in use, the switch 4 is opened and the electromagnet 2 is energized so that the ball 1 is housed in the movable substance.
