Abstract
PURPOSE:To separate infrared light and a radio wave by reflection and transmission by loading a dielectric multi-layered film which reflects the infrared light on a dielectric substrate of proper thickness which transmits the radio wave. CONSTITUTION:The substrate 1 is made of such calcium fluoride that the product of its thickness and refractive index is an integral multiple of a half of the wavelength of the radio wave and the dielectric multi-layered film 2 has double structure formed by joining a 1st 1/4-wavelength multi-layered film 3 as a 15-layers laminate of alternate magnesium fluoride layers 3a whose optical thickness is 1/4 as large as 3.44mum and zinc sulfide layers 3b with a 2nd 1/4 wavelength multi-layered film 4 formed by laminating magnesium fluoride layers 4a whose optical thickness is 1/4 as large as 4.56mum and zinc sulfide layers 4b alternately by 15 layers in total through the joining layer consisting of a zinc sulide layer 5 whose optical thickness is 1/4 as large as 4mum. Consequently, the infrared light is reflected by the dielectric multi-layered film and the radio wave is transmitted through the dielectric multi-layered film and dielectric substrate, so that the infrared light and radio wave can be separated from each other.
