Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the sealing property by forming a recessed semi-circular section with the same curvature as that of the outer periphery of a roller piston on the tip of a vane. CONSTITUTION:A roller piston 11 is arranged in a cylindrical compression chamber 10 provided on a cylinder 7, and a vane 13 is coupled with the vane groove 12 of the cylinder 7. The tip of the vane 13 is formed in a recessed semi-circular section 15 with the same curvature as that of the outer periphery or the roller piston 11. The semi-circular section 15 at the tip of the vane 13 and the outer periphery of the roller piston 11 are brought into face contact, the sealing property is improved, thereby the compression efficiency is improved, and a rotary compressor with good performance can be obtained.
