Abstract

PURPOSE: To easily prevent the occurrence of unrequired scars by executing both of optical depilation and electric depilation by a single unit. CONSTITUTION: At the time of removing hair from a patient, a unit 10 provided with an optical depilation probe 14 and an electric depilation probe 16 is provided. The probes are made independent of each other, the hair is removed and the pulses of light energy from the optical depilation probe 14 are at least supplied to the first set of the hair. Then, the pulses of electric energy from the electric depilation probe 16 are at least supplied to the second set of the hair and both of the pulses of the light energy from the optical depilation probe 14 and the pulses of the electric energy from the electric depilation probe 16 are at least supplied to the third set of the hair. As a result, the control is easily performed so as to prevent the occurrence of unrequired scars.
