Abstract
PURPOSE:To execute an information output from an original with maximum efficiency by successively connecting a voltage generated at both edges of a resistance to the amplifying circuit of a high input impedance with an analog switch in a status that the resistance is connected in series to a photoelectric converting amplifying semiconductor element and a voltage is impressed. CONSTITUTION:A voltage/current characteristic up to a voltage V0 to be impressed to an element is measured by a linear scale, a straight line is drawn from the point of the voltage V0 and a current 0 and a voltage V1 of a point where this straight line crosses the characteristic curve of a dark status and a curve V2 of a point where this line crosses the characteristic curve of a bright status are obtained. The straight line is determined so that V1-V2 can go to be maximum and by the inverse number of the gradient of the straight line, a resistance value is obtained. Thus the determined resistance is connected to the respective elements of an image sensor, a voltage to be generated in both edges is selected by an analog multiplexer and since the voltage is connected to the buffer of a high input impedance, a reflecting light from an original is converted to an electric information signal. Thus, a reading speed for one line can be increased adequately.
