Abstract
PURPOSE:To restrict variation in the revolution of a generator using a screw type two layer expansion device by drawing geothermal water to a gas-liquid separator via a throttle expansion valve and introducing saturated vapor flushed in said separator to the expansion device delivery-controlled according to the amount of the geothermal water. CONSTITUTION:Mixture fluid of hot water and vapor from a vapor discharge well 1 and geothermal water is introduced through a duct 2 to a gas-liquid separator 3 and the vapor separated here is introduced through a duct 2 to a turbine generator (not shown). The hot water on the other hand is introduced through a throttle expansion valve 28 which also serves as a flow rate controller to a gas-liquid separator 29, and saturated vapor flushed is introduced through a duct 30 to a screw type two layer expansion device 31 to perform the work of driving a generator 32. Part of the hot water in the gas-liquid separator 29 is made to jet through a duct 35 in the middle position of an expansion device 31 to perform sealing action, etc. The expansion device 31 performs delivery control by displacing a slider valve 42 according to the increase or decrease in the hot water amount thereby changing the size of an inlet.
