CONSTITUTION:A character data is composed of a parts data which becomes a configuration element of a character and a character configuration data which selects those parts data and transforms their arrangement, and those data have a hierarchical structure that the character configuration data is made upper. For instance, when a character 'ka' is divided into entities, the entities of 'ka', 'kuchi', 'ki' are obtained, and those entities are stored as parts data. Information concerning in what form and in what position above- mentioned three configuration entities are arranged is stored in the character configuration data. When the character configuration data of the character 'ka' are accessed, the parts data of 'ka', 'kuchi', 'ki' are accessed from a parts data group and are arranged to form the character 'ka'.
