Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a motor for producing high torque, by applying windings onto a plurality of armatures such that the armatures can be excited with plural phase currents, and arranging only one armature having one phase between armatures having another phase. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of armatures 5 are provided to respective motor units. Windings A, B, C are applied onto these armatures 5 in order to enable excitation of the armatures 5 with plural phase currents, and armatures fed with same phase current are excited with same polarity. Furthermore, only one armature fed with one phase current is arranged between armatures A, B or C which are fed with another phase current. Consequently, high torque can be obtained, motor can be made compact and cogging can be reduced.
