Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain superconductive ceramics at a relatively low heat treatment temp. at a low cost by subjecting a specified starting material mixture to calcining, molding and sintering. CONSTITUTION:A starting material mixture obtd. by mixing SrCO3 with Bi2O3 and CuO is calcined at about 800 deg.C, molded and sintered at 700-900 deg.C for 10-40hr to obtain superconductive ceramics represented by the formula [where 25<=a<=35mol.%, 10<=b<=35mol.%, 40<=(a+b)<=70, 1.0<x<1.2 and the value (x) depends on the values (a), (b)].
