Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent an adhesive for optical fiber fixation which is injected into an optical fiber groove from flowing in and out of a guide pin groove and flowing by forming a cut part in a cover plate on the rear part of the optical fiber guide groove and leaving the cover plate on the guide pin groove connected. CONSTITUTION:The cover plate 12 made of a silicone material is connected on a guide groove substrate 11 made of, for example, a silicone material which has the optical fiber guide groove 13 and guide pin groove 14 machined in its top surface, thereby forming an optical fiber guide hole 13' and a guide pin hole 14'. Further, the cover plate 12 on the rear part of the optical fiber guide groove 11 is removed to form the cut part 15 and an optical fiber is easily inserted into the optical fiber hole 13'. The cover plate 12 on the guide pin groove 14, on the other hand, is not removed and connected as it is. Consequently, the optical fiber is adhered and fixed in the optical fiber guide hole 13' and groove 13, so the injected adhesive is prevented from flowing in the guide groove 14.
