Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain the titled composition having excellent moisture permeability and water-absorption, etc., and useful as a vibration-damping and cushioning material, by reacting a polyether having active hydrogen group, etc., with a specific liquid diene polymer having active hydrogen group and an organic polyisocyanate and compounding the resultant prepolymer with a foaming agent. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition is produced by compounding (A) a polyether or polyester having active hydrogen group (e.g. polyester polyol having a mol.wt. of 800-3,000), (B) a liquid diene polymer containing active hydrogen group and having a number-average mol.wt. of 300-3,000, preferably 500-2,500 (e.g. polybutadiene homopolymer), (C) an organic polyisocyanate (e.g. MDI or TODI) and (D) a foaming agent (e.g. water or a mixture of water and a hydrophilic organic chain extender such as ethylene glycol).
