Abstract
PURPOSE:To test the functions of plural electronic equipments simultaneously through remote operation by testing the electronic equipments in order according to parameter information from a storage device and deciding whether or not they are normal. CONSTITUTION:A LAN adapter 2 serves as an interface between a LAN bus 1 and each device to be connected thereto. When a test is conducted, a test inspecting device 5 reads test parameters including the procedure, item specification, and inspection specification of the function test corresponding to OCR devices 3 to be tested out of a magnetic disk device 4 according to connection information from the OCR devices 3 to be tested. Then the OCR devices 3 are tested automatically in order and it is decided whether or not execution results are normal at each time; and the decision results are registered on the magnetic disk device 4 and also printed out on a printer 8. Further, a keyboard is used to maintain test parameters and a monitor 7 displays test results in the test and a test parameter maintenance image.
