Abstract

PURPOSE:To rapidly and exactly receive/transmit information by informing a person corresponding to private information of the reception of the information upon decision indicating that the reproduction of an image is ended. CONSTITUTION:Additional information and image information transmitted from the transmission side is received, the additional information such as the extension number of a reception-side person, message, etc., is stored in a reception memory part 24, and an image is reproduced based on the received image information to output a paper (output sheet 32) on which the image is reproduced. Thereafter, whether the reception of image information ends or not is judged, when the end is judged, a read-color mark, for instance, is printed on the final output sheet in order to sort out private data. Further, an automatic telephone part 22 controls a PBX26 to call a telephone set 28 corresponding to the extension number until speaking is made possible. When the speaking is made possible a voice synthesis part 20 is controlled to output a voice in accordance with the signal to inform the reception of the message and information stored in the memory part 24, and thus a voice communication is executed.
