Abstract
PURPOSE:To miniaturize the titled device without damaging a tape by providing a tape guiding means for guidably regulating the tape position in a tape cassette on the way of transfer between a 1st position capable of inserting and ejecting the tape cassette and a 2nd position capable of playing it. CONSTITUTION:Tape inserting and ejecting guides 11 and 14 provided on the way of transfer between the 1st position capable of inserting and ejecting the tape cassette 1 and the 2nd position capable of playing the cassette; guidably regulate the tape 4 which is on the way to be inserted or ejected, so as to insert the tape 4 in a correct position, where a slope is provided to smoothen a takeout motion. Then, the height is formed not to come into contact with the tape drawn at the time of loading or unloading motion of the tape 4. By this method, a distance between a rotary head drum 5 and a tape cassette 1 can be minimized by bringing them close to each other, and yet no damage is given to the tape 4 at all.
