Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the programming efficiency by calculating and integrating the processing time of each instruction word registered into a data base for measurement of overall processing time of a program and therefore it is decided previously whether the limiting conditions are satisfied or not. CONSTITUTION:When a program is produced, the produced program source is read and compiled to be transformed into a machine word. Then the executing simulation is carried out based on said machine word. The processing time of each instruction word of the program varies by the type of the working computer and therefore the processing time is applied as a data base for each type of computers. Then the processing time is extracted out of the data base for each instruction word of the program and these processing times are integrated. The measured processing time is displayed by an output means. Thus the processing time of the produced program can be measured before the program is actually run by a computer.
