Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the load of an operator at a command station and at the same time to shorten the processing time per item, by allocating previously the office numbers of telephone numbers to each collection/delivery vehicle so that a cargo collecting instruction is automatically sent to the corresponding vehicle just with input of the office number of the customer having a request for cargo collection to a cargo collection command device. CONSTITUTION:The office number of a customer's telephone number is supplied via a terminal 21 when a cargo collecting instruction is sent to a relevant collection/delivery vehicle 12 from an antenna AT by radio. Thus a CPU 22 performs an access to a table memory 24 based on said office number. A table containing the correspondence between the prescribed office numbers and the code numbers of the corresponding vehicles is recorded into the memory 24. Thus the relevant vehicle allocated to the corresponding office number is designated in response to the input office number. For instance, a vehicle 12 (code No: a1) is designated with input of an office number '231'.
