Abstract

PURPOSE:To realize the temperature compensation by adding a temperature sensor into a light emitting module in addition to a monitor photodiode and feeding the output of the temperature sensor back to a light emitting output control part. CONSTITUTION:A stabilized light source includes a light emitting module 1, a light emitting output control part 2, a driver 3, a light emitting element 4, a monitor photodiode 5, and a temperature sensor 6. The current of the element 4 is detected by a resistance R3 and fed back to the part 2 for control of the light emitting output. In this case, the output of the sensor 6 is fed back to the part 2 for temperature control of the photodiode 5 because the light emitting output of the element 4 varies by the ambient temperatures. Thus it is possible to completely eliminate the fluctuation of the light emitting output caused by the ambient temperatures.
