Abstract
PURPOSE:To calculate a highly reliable forecast altitude, by a method wherein an altitude difference rate of change computing section is provided to calculate a rate of change in the altitude difference at each fixed time interval by the formula I and the subsequent forecast altitude is computed by the formula II with the rate of change constant. CONSTITUTION:An altitude difference rate of change computing section 12 is provided to output the results of computation by performing a computation of the formula I, wherein an altitude data as the newest output is represented by h(0) as obtained from an altitude data collecting section 11 which outputs an altitude data of an aircraft at a fixed time interval with (m) and (n) as natural number above 1 while an output altitude data (m) times preceding the altitude data h(0) is represented by h(-m). A forecast altitude computing by performing the computation of the formula II wherein a value of an output of the computing section 12 is represented by (a). Then, an output of the computing section 13 is selected by a lowest altitude judging section 14 and a warning signal outputted from the section 14 is introduced into a warning generating section 15.
