Abstract
PURPOSE:To make it possible to coat a core material with a wall film excellent in heat resistance, water resistance and oil resistance without leaving any exposed part, by forming urea resin wall films around droplets of a (meth)acrylate compound-based hydrophobic liquid substance containing an epoxy compound. CONSTITUTION:A hydrophobic liquid substance based on a (meth)acrylate compound and containing an epoxy compound (e.g., bisphenol A diglycidyl ether) is dispersed in a prepolymer of a urea resin obtained by methylolation to form ureas resin wall films around droplets of the hydrophobic liquid core material. By adding the epoxy compound to this hydrophobic liquid substance, the formation of capsule films from said prepolymer can be facilitated, and it is possible to coat the droplets with wall films excellent in heat resistance, water resistance and oil resistance without leaving any exposed part. The capsules thus obtained are useful, especially, for one-pack anaerobic adhesive, excels in storage stability, and can be finished to have dry touch, so that is desirable as an adhesive for fastening screws or laminating adhesive for laminated sheets.
