Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a drain material having high water permeability and high pressure resistance by a method in which the projections of laminated nonwoven fabrics are fitted into the grooves of a synthetic resin core. CONSTITUTION:Many parallel grooves 2 are formed in one direction on synthetic resin core 1. One of two kinds of nonwoven fabrics 3 containing 20wt.% or more hot-bonding fibers is laminated on the grooved face 2 of the core 1, and the other 4 of the fabrics 3 is laminated on the nonwoven fabric covering the core 1 to make it two layer. The projections 5 of the nonwoven fabrics directly laminated on the core 1 are fitted into the grooves 2 of the core 1 to combine two kinds of the nonwoven fabrics 3 with the core 1. A drain material whose water permeating portion is free of blocking even when used for long periods can thus be obtained.
