Abstract

PURPOSE:To eliminate the need of a large-capacity accumulator by providing a control cylinder operated by pressure of an accumulator at the time of anti- lock control and switching means operated by brake fluid pressure to switch a fluid passage at the time of braking. CONSTITUTION:During non-braking operation, a fluid passage switching device 30 opens the first fluid passage 35 for connecting a hydraulic pump 29 and an accumulator 36 to accumulate pressure. On the other band, during braking operation, the first fluid passage 35 is closed by operation of brake fluid pressure end the second fluid passage 38 is opened to supply hydraulic pressure from the hydraulic pump 29 to the second chamber 47 of a control cylinder 5.
