Abstract
PURPOSE:To form shaded patterns of various forms with a simple structure so that the coated surface of a building material is diversified by connecting plural pieces of different color coatings supplying nozzles to a flow coater head. CONSTITUTION:For example, 5 pieces of the coatings supplying nozzles 4 are provided at equal intervals to the flow coater head 1 and solenoid valves 5 are provided to the nozzles 4. The main coating A for inorg. building materials, etc., consisting of cement as an essential raw material is then dropped in the form of a curtain 2 from the flow coater head 1 and the different color coatings B of the same quality as the quality of the main coating A are then supplied simultaneously from the nozzles 4. Then, the main coating A attains a fairly uniform laminar state at the time of falling down and, therefore, the coatings fall as they are without being uniformly mixed so that the coatings B form the shaded patterns in the coating A on the surface of the plate material.
