Abstract

PURPOSE: To accurately and surely detect the presence of various kinds of specific antibodies in a clinical sample in a relatively short time from the changes of reaction colors after incubation when different reagents are used by providing a porous film which immobilizes a plurality of specific antigen points on a rigid substrate. CONSTITUTION: A dipping stick 10 is formed by sticking a porous film 14 to a substrate 11 on which a row of elliptic windows 12 is formed and which is made of a rigid plastic having a thickness of about 25 mills with a double coated adhesive layer 15. Drops of 1μl in volume of various kinds of antigen samples 16 are attached to the central films 14 of the windows 12. Of the windows 12, two can be used for comparison between the positive and negative. The presence of antibodies in a clinical blood sample is detected by dipping the stick 10 in the sample diluted with a diluting solution and binding the antibodies with specific antigens in the first incubation state, and then, obtaining a enzyme bound body in the second incubation stage and coloring the bound body in the third state. Therefore, the presence of the antibodies can be detected surely.
