Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve reliability to corrosive water solution such as water and brine by shaping an outer layer where a thermoplastic resin layer and an outer resin layer are laminated onto an opposite surface protective film made of Al foil and thermoplastic resin. CONSTITUTION:A thin film type solar battery element 1 is formed directly on a glass substrate 6 excepting margin 20. This element 1 is entirely coated by a first resin layer 30. An opposite surface protective film 7 is prepared by laminating a thermoplastic resin 10, an Al foil 11 and an Al foil protective resin layer 12. The module formed in this way is further covered with an outer film 50 which consists of a thermoplastic resin layer 40 and an outer resin layer 41. The outer film 50 is formed by dissolving thermoplastic resin layer 40 of polypropylene resin which is modified by maleic anhydride and by bonding the outer resin layer 41 of fluorine resin to the margin of glass substrate 6.
