Abstract
PURPOSE:To make the titled lens barrel compact and light in weight, by providing a coupling means for coupling a cam holding frame and a fixed lens barrel, on the outside of a zoom ring. CONSTITUTION:The titled lens barrel is provided with a fixed lens barrel 1 having partially the end face for controlling one end of a flange 2a of a cam cylinder 2, in the optical axis direction, and a means for coupling a cam holding frame 3 and the fixed lens barrel 1, at the outside of a zoom ring 11, at the side of the part having no end face for controlling one end of the flange 2a in the optical axis direction. Also, a notch is provided on the end part of the cam cylinder, and a projecting part which is engaged to the notch, at the side of the part having no end face for controlling one end of the flange 2a constituted at the end part of the cam cylinder 2 of the fixed lens barrel 1, in the optical axis direction is provided on the zoom ring 11. In such a way, the cam cylinder 2 is rotated smoothly, it is unnecessary to provide a groove on the fixed lens barrel 1, it will suffice that the zoom ring 11 is engaged directly to the cam cylinder 2, and the titled lens barrel can be made compact and light in weight.
