Abstract

PURPOSE:To constitute a terminal equipment by components using one and same channel only, by providing a storage circuit updating and storing information at every reception of a series of signals and a nonsignal detection circuit detecting the absence of a signal on a transmission line for a prescribed time of a receiver and giving a transmission start command to a repeater. CONSTITUTION:A repeater 4 is installed to a point of a transmission line to which a signal from a central equipment 2 arrives and relays a signal to a terminal equipment 3z to which the signal of the equipment 2 does not arrive. The repeater 4 consists of a receiver 41, a storage circuit 42, a transmitter 43 and a nonsignal detection circuit 44 and when a nonsignal is consecutive for a prescribed time after the signal is once received and stored, the reception signal stored by the transmitter is reproduced and transmitted. Thus, even when the transmission line cannot be split, the repeater is used to cope with signal attenuation and all terminal equipments are constituted by using equipments of one and same channel (same frequency).
