Abstract

PURPOSE:To promote the stable rotation of an air direction changing plate by forming a protrusive vein of chevron section in the peripheral surface center of the rotatable disk-shaped air direction changing plate and a groove of hollow section in the peripheral surface center of a driving roller which drives this air direction changing plate. CONSTITUTION:An air direction changing plate 4 of disk shape, arranged before a fan in a main unit case 3 housing the motor-driven fan, is pivotally supported rotatably by a supporting cylinder (not shown) fixed to the main unit case 3. Here the air direction changing plate 4 forms in its peripheral surface center a continuously protrusive vein 10 of protrusive (chevron) section,while forcing a roller 6 to come into press contact with the periphery of the air direction changing plate 4 and driving the roller 6 by power of a small motor 7, the roller 6 forms in its peripheral surface center a continuously recessed groove 11 of hollow (valley) section. Forcing the roller 6 to uniformly come into contact in its groove 11 with the air direction changing plate 4 in its protrusive vein 10 normally in at least two points 10a, 11a, thus the air direction changing plate 4 ensures stable rotation.
