Abstract

PURPOSE:To execute uniform treatment without reducing a treating rate by forming specific groove parts on a frame sheet fitted on a conveyor to carry substance to be treated in a treating device to spray treating liquid on the surface of a flat substance to be treated. CONSTITUTION:For example, a conveyor 3 moves horizontally in a lateral direction in an etching chamber 2 in the central part of a horizontally carrying treating device 1 which etches, at the same time, both sides of a printed wiring board 9 of the substance to be treated wherein both surfaces thereof are coated with resist pattern. The conveyor 3 is provided with a pair of flexible and parallelly spread belts 7 and flat and square frame sheets 8 are fitted between the belts 7 at a prescribed interval. In the central part of the frame sheet 8 are made groove parts 10 wherein a wiring board 9 is inserted closely into each groove so that the surface of the frame sheet 8 and the surface of the wiring board 9 compose the same plane. The wiring boards 9 are carried continuously and inserted one by one into each groove part 10, carried sequentially, horizontally into the chamber 2 to etch both surfaces of the wiring board 9, at the same time, with treating liquid sprayed uniformly from a spray nozzle 5 on the surface of the frame sheet 8.
