Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain the titled composition for inorganic material such as glass, having excellent storage stability, curable at a low temperature and capable of giving a coating film having high hardness and good smoothness, by adding a specific amount of zirconia sol to a specific organoalkoxysilane. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition having especially improved alkali resistance and excellent adhesivity to substrate and capable of giving a coating film having excellent smooth appearance, weather resistance, heat-resistance and stain resistance, etc., by compounding 100pts.wt. (in terms of organoalkoxysilane) of an organoalkoxysilane of formula RnSi(OR')4-n (R is 1-8C organic group; R' is 1-5C alkyl or 1-4C acyl; n is 1 or 2), its hydrolyzate and/or partial condensate with (B) 0.1-100pts.wt. (in terms of solid component) of zirconia sol.
