CONSTITUTION:This optical card 1 has an information recording region 2 and is constituted by superposing the recording medium layer 4 on the substrate 3 consisting of transparent plastic and providing the substrate 6 consisting of transparent plastic thereon via a transparent adhesive agent layer 5. The thickness d1 of the substrate 3 is 0.35-0.4mm. The substrates 6 3 are made of the same material and the adhesive agent layer 5 has the same refractive index as the refractive index of the substrate 6. The total thickness of the adhesive agent layer 5 and the substrate 6 is equal to the thickness d1 of the substrate 3. Recording and reproduction of ordinary information are executed from an arrow A direction in this constitution.
