Abstract
PURPOSE:To make the output of an apparatus higher by connecting the output end of a full-wave rectifier circuit and the DC circuit of a capacitor to a load. CONSTITUTION:A power circuit is composed of an AC power Vin, a full-wave rectifier circuit DB with an input end connected to said AC power, a switching element Q1, an inductance L1 connected via said element, a capacitor C1 and others. Further, a series circuit of the output end of said rectifier circuit DB and said capacitor C1 is connected to a load l. Then, when the switching element Q1 is in the ON state, a DC current from the full-wave rectifier circuit DB flows to the inductance L1 so that energy is stored in said inductance L1. After that, when the switching element Q1 is in the OFF state, a capacitor C1 is charged with electricity from the inductance L1 and a voltage Vout obtained by addition of the double end voltage E of the capacitor C1 to an output voltage V1 is applied to the load l. Thus, the output of an apparatus can be made higher and a rush current is prevented from flowing through a smoothing capacitor.
