Abstract
PURPOSE:To easily find a defect in the adhesion of an aqueous gummed cloth tape by detecting the amount of water in the aqueous gummed cloth tape adhered to a packing case by an electrostatic capacity type proximity switch installed at a specific place in the middle of a conveyance path. CONSTITUTION:This device is equipped with two couples of photoelectric switches 3 and 3a, and 4 and 4a for detecting the packing case 2 at specific position in the middle of parallel conveyance paths having a specific gap A for conveyance belts 1 and 1a and electrostatic capacity type proximity switches 5 and 6 for detecting the amount of water in the gummed cloth tape adhered on the bottom part and ceiling part of the case. The switch 6 is so fitted to a guide plate as to contact the gummed cloth tape at all times even if the height of the case 2 is different. The switches 5 and 6 are installed at relative positions where they begin to operate when the switch 3 is shielded by the case 2, and where they stop to operate when the switch 4 is shielded to finish detecting the amount of the water in the tape.
