Abstract
PURPOSE:To measure a carbon content in a place where there are no municipal water supply by providing a 1st flow passage and 2nd flow passage between an extraction means and storage means and circulating the water stored in the storage means to the extraction means. CONSTITUTION:The extraction means consists of an extraction column 21 which separates the sample liquid supplied from a reactor 12 into carbon dioxide and moisture by blowing an inert gas into the sample liquid and a cooler 27 which cools the extraction column 21 by circulating cooling water around the extraction column 21. The 1st flow passage 33 which supplies the water stored in the means 31 as cooling water to the cooler 27 and the 2nd flow passage 34 which supplies the cooling water after circulation through the cooler 27 again to the means 31 are provided between the cooler 27 and the storage means 31. A circulation pump 35 which circulates the water stored in the means 31 into the cooler 27 is provided to either of the flow passage 33 and the flow passage 34. The carbon content is thereby measured even in the place where there are no municipal water supply.
