Abstract

CONSTITUTION:An arithmetic operation is performed at the beginning part of the block of data by reading out an old flag 10, and a result of one block is held. Since the readout of the old flag 10 is completed prior to the write of the block, it is enough only to write a new flag within a time of one word similarly as the data memory 1. In such a way, it is not required to use a fast memory compared with the data memory 1 as the flag memory 2, and a memory can be satisfied with the one being operated at the same speed as that of the data memory 1.
