Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent the taking out of fluid particles while eliminating the waste heat energy by discharging the total quantity of a fluidizing gas outside the furnace through a gas permeable solid internally charged above a fluidized bed. CONSTITUTION: A fluidizing gas is injected into a retort 51 in the route of a valve 81, a plenum chamber 62 and a dispersion plate 61 to fluidize fluid particles in the retort 51. On the other hand, heaters 41 and 42 are heated and heat is transmitted in the route of the retort 51 and the particles 71 to accomplish a hand, treatment of a material to be treated in the fluidized bed. In this case, it is so constructed that the total quantity of the fluidizing gas injected into the retort 51 is discharged outside the furnace through a discharge port 13 by way of a gas permeable solid 91. The gas permeable solid 91 makes sensible heat the fluidizing gas has radiate to the fluidized bed and thus, the effective utilization thereof eliminates the waste of heat energy and also facilitates a high temperature treatment of the material to be treated and furthermore, enables preventing of the taking out of the fluid particles.
