Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain an air leakage measuring apparatus which can automatically calculate an air leakage parameter, by providing a temperature sensor, a pressure sensor, an air-blow unit, a calculating means for calculating the capacity or volume of a piping, a calculating means for calculating the air leakage parameter, a control means, an output means, etc. in the air leakage detecting device. CONSTITUTION:An output piping 3 of a valve member 2 which controls in-and-out of compressed air supplied from a compressor 1 is provided with a temperature sensor 4 for detecting the temperature of the compressed air, a pressure sensor 5 for detecting the pressure of the compressed air, and an air-blow unit 6 for discharging the compressed air through communication with the piping 3. A calculating means 7 calculates the volume V of the piping 3 by a predetermined formula based on the output signals from the above described sensors. Then, a parameter calculating means 8 calculates an air leakage parameter correlative to the volume of the leaking air on the basis of the calculated volume V of the piping 3 and the change of the relative pressure in the piping 3 before and after a predetermined time has passed. Meanwhile, a control means 9 having a timer for regulating the predetermined time controls the calculating means 7 and 8 and the air-blow unit 6. An output means 10 indicates or records the air leakage parameter.
