Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent a metal foreign matter from adhering to an insulating spacer by forming a hole at the upper face of a high voltage conductor insulated and supported in a vessel in which insulating gas is sealed to trap the matter moving while rotating around the conductor in the hole. CONSTITUTION:3-phase high voltage conductors 2 are insulated and supported by an insulating spacer 3 in a vessel 1 in which insulating gas is sealed and which is horizontally disposed. In this case, a hole 4 is formed at the top face of the conductor 2. The hole 4 is preferably formed near the spacer 3. Thus, since it can collect a metal foreign matter moving whole rotating around the conductor 2, it can prevent it from adhering to the spacer 3, thereby enhancing the insulating reliability of the spacer 3.
