Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain the titled patch having raised stability of a main agent, by adding ascorbic acid (ester) and triamcinolone acetonide as the main agent into a water-soluble film. CONSTITUTION:0.05-1.0pts.wt. triamcinolone acetonide and 0.01-2.0pts.wt. ascorbic acid or ascorbic acid ester are added to a water-soluble film having 20-300mum, preferably 30-200mum thickness. A film of polyvinyl pyrrolidone, gelatin, PVA, sodium polyacrylate, CMC, starch or xanthan gum is used as the water-soluble film. The patch directly acts on the affected part as the film is dissolved in the oral cavity and has no feeling of physical disorder because of thin film.
