Abstract
PURPOSE:To eliminate the dispersion in pressing pressure by providing a pressing pressure adjusting device, which is operated by receiving a signal, in a wire pressing mechanism, and constituting the pressing pressure adjusting device so that it is controlled by the same signal. CONSTITUTION:Pinch rollers of a wire pressing mechanism are pressedly brought into contact directly with a wire 2, and air cylinders are used as pressing pressure adjusting devices for adjusting respective pressing pressures. And, the air from an air source 24 is controlled by a pressure regulating valve 25, and is supplied to respective air cylinders 3, 7, 16, and 21 via an air pipe 26. Accordingly, since the air of the same air pressure is supplied to all the air cylinders by one signal for controlling the pressure regulating valve 25, the pressing pressure for each wire pressing mechanism is proportional to the area of each air cylinder. This adjustment can be carried out in a short time without requiring skill. Therefore, the dispersion in the pressing pressure in respective wire pressing mechanisms can be eliminated, and the tension of the wire 2 is stabilized. Further, if only the signal for controlling the pressure regulating valve 25 is changed, the pressing pressure can be changed to be finely adjusted to suit the wire to be used.
