Abstract
PURPOSE:To select an appropriate path by selecting and outputting a signal whose error has been corrected, of a path in which the number of errors is small, in accordance with an output of a comparator. CONSTITUTION:Detectors 1, 2, and deciding devices 3, 4 are provided independently on each path, and also, error correcting circuits 5, 6 are provided, respectively, the number of errors in each path is compared in a comparator 7, an output of the path in which the number of errors is small is selected in a selecting circuit 8, and from this selecting circuit 8, the output is fetched. This selection is executed with respect to the signal which has been decided. Accordingly, such a transient undesirable influence as usual is not exerted, and also, a complicated analog circuit is not required. In such a way, an appropriate path can always be selected.
