Abstract
PURPOSE:To output a measured value accurately corresponding to the position of a guide rail by dividing the frequency of movement pulses generated by a pulse encoder moving along the guide rail and operating and recording the output signal of a displacement detector at intervals of frequency division. CONSTITUTION:The floor of a cage 4 is stopped having its floor aligned with the lowermost floor and the output voltage V0 of an arithmetic unit 17 is adjusted to zero V. Then the digital switch of a frequency dividing device 15 is set to a desired value and a reset button is pressed to set an initial value to zero. Then a cage frame 3 is elevated and then a roller 12 rotates, so that the pulse encoder 11 outputs a pulse signal proportional to the movement distance of the cage frame 3. Its pulses are frequency-divided 15 and applied to the external trigger terminal of a data logger 16. The output voltages V1 and V2 of displacement detectors 10a and 10b and the output voltage V0 of the unit 17 are recorded on the logger 16 according to the timing of the pulse signal and displayed graphically. This graph is accurately proportional to the movement distance from a start position, so the position of the guide rail 1a is accurately and easily decided.
