Abstract

PURPOSE:To make it possible to perform convergence adjustment and deflected figure compensation also in the horizontal direction without using a convergence yoke by connecting the secondary side of a reverse voltage generation transformer to a horizontal auxiliary coil so as to negate inductive voltage. CONSTITUTION:The auxiliary coils 41, 42, 51, 52 of a deflected yoke 6 generate a compensating magnetic field using the same core with the main deflected coils 21, 22, 31, 32, and performs convergence adjustment or deflected figure compensation. Inductive voltage is induced in horizontal auxiliary coils 51, 52 by a horizontal deflected magnetic field, but this inductive voltage is negated by connecting the secondary side of a reverse voltage generation transformer 7 to the horizontal auxiliary coils 51, 52 in series. Thus, convergence adjustment and deflected figure compensation can be performed also in the horizontal direction without using a convergence yoke.
