Abstract

CONSTITUTION: In a factory, plural cylinder bodies A1 , A2 ,...An each having a rail body 16 inside are separately assembled and formed. The cylinder bodies A1 , A2 ,...An are then transported to an installation site, the cylinder bodies A1 , A2 ,...An are stacked on each other in order to be coupled with each other, and the rail bodies 16 are connected to each other in order, so a series of an elevator shaft 10 and a series of a guide rail 30 are formed. In addition, in either cylinder body A1 , a car 33 and a counterweight to be engaged with the rail body 16 of the cylinder body A1 to freely run are preliminarily contained, and the car 33 and the counterweight are run along the guide rail 30. By thus forming the elevator shaft 10 and the guide rail 30, an elevator system can be assembled easily, efficiently, and in a short time.
